Seun started his internet career in the year 2003 after going into the webhosting business.
Having failed to sustain his web hosting business as a result of inadequate capital, Seun had to resort to a regular job which he secured following the failure of his web hosting business. However, he soon left the job as he was not satisfied with the demanding nature of regular jobs; he had indeed had a nice feel of creative freedom through his earlier web hosting business and so, he preferred having a job that would guarantee him such freedom again.
He started his experiment for Nairaland between 2003 and 2005 when he created three forums, one of them was meant for students of higher educational institutions, the second one was for IT discussions, and the third one, Mobile Nigeria, was meant to cover the GSM industry that was emerging in Nigeria then. The latter turned out to be Nairaland the biggest forum in Africa.
The forum currently has almost 2million registered members and still counting.
In the year 2013 Seun Osewa entered the Forbes list of best African successful entrepreneurs under 30. Which got him more huge reputation amidst other co-webmasters in Africa.
