Samuel Animashaun Perry (born September 19, 1993), better known as Broda Shaggi, is a Nigerian comedian, actor, songwriter and musician.At a young age, he took an interest in acting drama as influenced by his late father who was a drama teacher. He is notable for his satire plays which he shared on Instagram however came through with his parody drama "Jesu in Mushin".
Broda Shaggi is a graduate of Creative Arts from the University of Lagos, his late father was a Drama instructor at Junior School, Ikenne, Ogun state.
Career
He began comedy acts numerous years back while in the University. He made a great deal of characters before he later settled on the name of Broda Shaggi. Broda Shaggi has been perceived in the business for his comedy and uniqueness of character. He has various awards, for example, The Future Awards Africa Nigeria Prize for Comedy and City People Music Award for Comedy Act of the Year.

Education
His educational journey started in Mayflower Junior School in Ikene, Ogun State, where he was having his primary education until the death of his father. Following the demise of his Dad, he couldn’t continue at Mayflower Junior School so he enrolled in Heritage Primary School, Ikene, Ogun State.
After relocating to Lagos State, Broda Shaggi joined Birrel Avenue Senior High School, where he completed his secondary education. Upon completion of his secondary education, he enrolled in the University Of Lagos (UNILAG) and gained admission there. In UNILAG, he wanted to study Theatre Arts but wasn’t granted admission to study Theatre Arts because he didn’t study literature in Secondary school but rather Fine Art, hence he switched to the Creative Arts department in Unilag and graduated in 2016.
In August 2018, Broda Shaggi and Davido enrolled for the NYSC program and were posted to the NYSC camp in Iyana Ipaja, Agege area of Lagos. In March 2019, he completed his NYSC program.
