Gbenga Omolokun is the Managing Director of VFD Microfinance Bank. Gbenga is a brilliant business strategist skilled in operations strategy and general management. He has over 15 years of rich expertise in business process improvement, general management, technology, and strategy across various industries. Gbenga is skilled in establishing and scaling new businesses and ventures.  Before his current role, he served as a manager in the advisory division of KPMG Nigeria, before occupying Executive and Non-Executive Directorial positions in several companies.

Gbenga has diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. From 2008 to 2014, he worked as a Senior Associate and later a Manager at KPMG Advisory Nigeria. In 2014, he transitioned to KPMG Advisory Services and continued in the role of Manager until 2016. 

In 2016, Gbenga joined VFD Group Plc as an Executive Director/COO, overseeing the company's operations until 2019. During his time at VFD Group Plc, he also served as a Non-Executive Director and later as an Executive Director. 

In 2016, Gbenga also took on the role of Managing Director at Germaine Auto Centre, where he successfully turned the company's fortunes around and facilitated its debt restructuring. In 2019, he became a Non-Executive Director at VFD Microfinance Bank and held the position until 2021. 

From 2020 onwards, Gbenga took up several roles as a Non-Executive Director at Atiat Leasing Limited, Xerde Limited, and Anchoria Investment and Securities Ltd. In 2021, he became a Director at VFD TECH LIMITED. Additionally, Gbenga currently serves as the Managing Director of Vbankng, where he is responsible for driving the digital banking initiative and facilitating business and personal enablement through embedded activities and collaborations.

Gbenga Omolokun completed a Diploma in Strategy and Innovation at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford from 2021 to 2022. Before that, he obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from Obafemi Awolowo University between 2001 and 2006.
