Obi Cubana is the fourth child and last son of his parents.
He started education at Central Primary School before attending Dennis Memorial Grammar School for his secondary education.
After his secondary education, he proceeded to the University of Nigeria Nsukka where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science in 1998.
He also served with the first set of corps members to work at the National Assembly immediately after Nigeria regained democracy in 1999.
He had a dream to be a staff of the National Assembly but it didn’t work out. Then he went into the boutique business; that also didn’t work out. In 2001, he established the garden business.
Then, Ibiza was established in 2006 to satisfy fun seekers. Ibiza is an entertainment and hospitality outfit located in Garki (but now in Lagos and Awka).
Obi Cubana loves entertainment and this dated back to his school days.
According to him, people gathered in his house and he always entertained them. He loved to cook food and also loved to serve drinks so it became like a norm.
Following the remarkable success he made from Ibiza club, he established Cubana, a hospitality club that provides all-round entertainment and satisfaction in 2009.
Obi Cubana was first established in Owerri, Imo State and today, it has spread across various states in the country including Lagos, Abia and Enugu.
That is where he got his alias from.
He is married to Ebele Iyiegbu, aka Lush Eby who is a lawyer by profession and they are blessed with four kids whom are all boys.
Obi Cubana has won several awards and recognition across the country including “Democracy Heroes Award” 2018 as “Democracy Entrepreneur” of the year, “Ghana-Nigeria Achievers Award” as “Inspiring Personality Award, 2017 and several others.
He owns several mansions across the country with couple of exotic cars from Mercedes Benz 4matic S40, 2 Lexus LX, Bentley and others.

Obi Cubana’s net worth is estimated at $500,000,000 with his clubs across the country over $2billion.
He said:
“I didn’t enter the business to make quick money and run. I am trying to do something that will leave a lasting legacy that even when I am not here, others can carry on.”
Apart from the entertainment and hospitality industry, Obi Cubana is involved in real estate and hinted the public of delving into health and Medicals.
During the pandemic he started Casa Cubana. A reasonable and affordable luxury real estate on the back of the lack of houses for people.
He has also just floated Cubana Trading and Investment Company which will be launching soon.
He’s currently working on Odogwu Bitters. A consumable spirit that also works like a cleanser.
